Back when I was searching for art for Miss O’s room, I came across alot of prints that were Gocco and I was intrigued what it was because the art had a really unique look. Gocco is an old printing method that uses a small self contained printer and it uses flash bulbs, like a camera, to thermally imprint the original image on a master screen. With the master screen, you can then add paint and make several copies of your original artwork. I’m super curious to see how this works in person and would love to give it a go myself but the printers and parts are extremely difficult to find (the printers are no longer made and distributed). For now I can just admire the video. . .
